Clip Art A World from the Pastor

Moses spoke of the power of God that came as a pillar of fire. The fire was a chance for the Israelites to catch a vision of what the Lord had in store for each of them. God’s Spirit is of divine power and divine strength, giving grace and power to all who will worship the Lord God. The Lord spoke to them face to face from the Mount through the fire. God wants to speak face to face to you through the fire of

the Holy Spirit, bringing you power and direction in these days of much anxiety. Moses, in Deuteronomy 5:5, spoke unto the people after the fact saying: “I stood between the Lord and you at that time, to show you the word of the Lord. For you were afraid by reason of the fire. You went not up into

the mount, rather you stayed away for you were afraid to hear from the Lord.” The Lord speaks strong words saying I am the Lord thy God who delivered you from your enemies. I am thy God, and you shall have no other Gods before me. Today Moses isn’t here. I stand as your Pastor, between you and any fears you may have to tell you that the fire of God (or Holy Spirit) is very real and its message today is

much like it was in Moses’ day for it tells us the Lord is our deliver and savior; it brings us good news of the glorious message of salvation; it offers a living hope of eternal life. Today as I stand between the dead and the living I earnestly bring you to a place of power greater than can be obtained anywhere in this world. A power so mighty, if put to the test, through faith it can literally shake the powers of the heavens. God has sent the Holy Spirit to the believers with the message “that these things I do

you can do also”. When the Holy Spirit truly lives in our lives there’s no limiting what can be done. Jesus said “If we have the faith of a grain of mustard seed we could say to the mountain ‘Be thou removed and cast into the see’ and it would be done”. Today I stand in honor bringing to you the fire and presence of the almighty God.

May God Bless You This

Rita’s Review

As we turn another page on the calendar, we are reminded that 2016 is swiftly coming to a close. Thinking back over the year, I reflect on things that changed my course of action. Decisions

had to be made that I wasn’t planning to deal with this time last year; people came and went in my life that made for some emotional time; aging of course came with its own set of rules to be reckoned

with; yet through them all, my God has never left me. It’s such an amazing blessing to be assured that God’s love is never changing. No matter the times I mess up, or the times that my choices aren’t exactly what they should be, God never makes me feel “second class”. There’s someone I know who can’t seem to get out of the wallow of self-pity. Their self-esteem is so low they cannot begin to think of a brighter tomorrow. Instead of reaching out to those who know and love them for support, they turn away and

return to the support of those who take away their self-worth and condemn them to a hopeless existence. If only they could see that Christ came and lived amongst sinful mankind. He blazed a trail to the cross with his/blameless life. He conquered death, and took the keys of eternal damnation away from Satan, and today he sits at the right hand of God making intercession for us! For you and me!!! It’s a blessing I’m thankful for every day! I pray someday my friend will know God’s blessing of salvation for themselves. And if you do not yet know Christ, I pray you will find him too!            –rita
